Excess ground water, in the sub-grade, beneath the surface of the asphalt surface
that can cause heaving and settling and can saturate the sub-base on which the parking lot is constructed. This water can some times be observed seeping through cracks in the asphalt.

The installation of drain tile, connected to a catch basin, will drain ground water from the sub-base into city storm sewer.

Operation:

• Back-hoe trench for proper elevation for drainage
• Install gravel as per spec.
• Compacted with plate whacker
